Firecloud Adventures was founded (in 2003) by a group of
like-minded adventure enthusiasts and entrepreneurs who are
passionate about travel, people and Africa. Our products are
continually evolving and being tailored to suit individual
preferences and special interests. Exploring is not just about
the adventure, it’s also about the people experience!

STANDARD TOURS
Our standard tours have been designed to accommodate different adventure activities such as mountain trekking, horseback trekking, kayaking or mountain biking. In all these tours you’ll enjoy exploring your destination whilst participating in your favourite outdoor activity. Generally a good level of fitness is required and our professional guides will see to it that you are well taken care of in terms of meals and camps. Most standard tours are operated in true expedition style, exploring as the weather and terrain allows -it can be a life changing experience!
LODGE BASED ADVENTURES
We offer tailored bush and wildlife explorations based at a variety of lodges in Africa. Daily explorations take place either on foot or game viewing vehicles, allowing you an opportunity to track and get up close to Africa’s unique wildlife.
SPECIAL INTEREST TOURS
We recognize that Africa is a continent of vast contrasts and as such attracts visitors for different reasons. These interests may include birding, plant biospheres, archeology, geology, local culture, wildlife, game viewing, mountains, forests, canyons, beaches or even underwater explorations. In all our tours we aim to incorporate beautiful scenery, wildlife and culture, but we can tailor any tour to include more of a specific interest you may have.

Gordon
Entrepreneur and outdoor enthusiast, Cherelle brings her 12
years of travel industry experience to developing and promoting
unique adventure products for Firecloud Adventures. Her passion
for travel and the outdoors together with her natural ability
to build lasting relationships with both clients and suppliers
have resulted in the fulfilment of many clients’ travel
dreams. An avid explorer herself, Cherelle has travelled much
of the African continent and neighbouring Indian Ocean Islands,
spending her time diving, hiking, kayaking, and mountain-biking
over whatever new territory invites exploration.
Eileen Osborne
A born explorer and natural athlete, Eileen is passionate
about the outdoors and is happiest when traversing a remote
mountain footpath or relaxing along the beaches of the warm
Indian Ocean. Having travelled extensively worldwide and trekked
some of the world’s most famous trails, her travel experience,
creative genius and intuitive thinking make her an invaluable
team member. A natural people’s person and enthusiastic
motivator, Eileen is a superb coach, encourager, and an absolute
asset to have as part of any trek.
Jacques Erasmus
A corporate adventurer, Jacques brings to the team sound financial
and business expertise. A leader in his own field, he is still
an explorer at heart and has travelled extensively worldwide.
An enthusiastic mountain biker, scuba diver and hiker, Jacques
is passionate about developing people, concepts and ideas
that add value to clients in the market place.
