into the Tuli Block to our exclusive overnight campsite
situated on the banks of the Limpopo river. You will
be able to experience the magic of a star studded African
night around our campfire, whilst enjoying our first
sumptuous "camp dinner" on safari.
Day 2
Today the route takes you further and further away from
civilization, until we reach the town of Letlhakane
on the edge of the endless Makgadikgadi Pans. After
refuelling continue past the village of Matshumu, where
within a few kilometres you will have your first view
of the pans. Your overnight stop will be on the edge
of the Makgadikgadi Pans at the mystical Kubu Island
Day 3
You start the day with a short walk to the “top”
of the island for a 360º view of the surrounding
area, before departing for another day of off-road driving.
The route takes you across the vast Ntetwe pan, before
exiting the pans at Gweta and proceeding to “Planet
Baobab” for lunch. The route after lunch takes
you back into the wilderness, and you will camp tonight
at the famous “Baines’ Baobabs”, painted
by the explorer Thomas Baines in 1862.
Day 4
You now drive on tar to Maun which is the gateway to
the Okavango Delta.
From Maun you once again enter the wilderness through
the famous “Buffalo Fence”, and then further
northwest to the unique Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi
forms an intricate part of the Okavango Delta, compromising
permanently swamped areas, seasonally swamped areas
and dry land. This is prime wildlife area where elephant,
hippo, buffalo, lion, cheetah and most other game can
be seen and experienced in abundance. We overnight at
a luxury tented lodge on the Xakanxa Lagoon for the
next two nights.
Day 5
Today’s trail takes you on a game drive to Dead
Tree Island and Third Bridge will undoubtedly be one
of the driving highlights of the safari. By boat you
search for the shy Sitatunga antelope, and stare in
wonder at the exotic bird and animal life surrounding
you. Moremi is an ideal location for a wildlife sanctuary
in which wild animals are allowed free seasonal movement.
Day 6
After breakfast exit Moremi at North Gate, and drive
for a while next to the Khwai river which is known for
its vast number of game and raptors, before turning
south-east to our camp site which is situated in Mankwe
- a concession area adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve.
The evening is spent socialising around the campfire
in the middle of the Botswana wilderness. It’s
not uncommon to get a visit from some of the local wildlife.
Day 7
Ahead of you today is a strenuous off-road drive through
one of the most spectacular wilderness and wildlife
areas in Africa. Driving past the Magwikhwe sand ridge,
you enter the Chobe National Park at Mababe Gate and
proceed to the Savuti area where you stop for lunch
under huge Camelthorn trees. Continuing on the route
takes you further north through the Chobe Forest Reserve
and eventually to the comfortable Chobe Safari Lodge,
which is situated on the banks of this magnificent river.
Day 8
The Chobe area is a birder's paradise. You can watch
the Fish Eagles as they swoop down to catch fish, or
flocks of Abdims Storks as they soar with the thermals.
A spectacular sight is the harmony of flight when the
large White Pelicans do a low level fly-by. An afternoon
boat cruise on the Chobe River will undoubtedly be one
of the highlights of the Safari. Our last evening in
this area is spent at the Chobe Safari Lodge, with its
magnificent views over the Chobe flood plain.
Day 9
You leave Botswana and enter Zimbabwe at the Kazungula
border post. Continue with the drive to Victoria Falls,
where you’ll be staying at the Lukutula Lodge
for the next two nights.

the curio markets, take helicopter flips over the falls,

white water on a raft below the falls!
